JOE FARRELL is an award-winning producer who spent 14 years at Funny Or Die, rising from intern to Chief Creative Officer. During his tenure, he managed the company’s film and television slates from pitch to post, earning three Emmys, a Peabody, a Critics’ Choice, and a PGA Award.
Executive Producer credits include Netflix’s American Vandal, IFC’s Brockmire, Hulu’s I Love You America, and Paramount+ series Players, No Activity, Guilty Party, and For Heaven’s Sake. He also executive produced CBS’s After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson and HBO’s Ferrell Takes the Field. On the feature side, Joe was a Producer (p.g.a.) on the critically acclaimed WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story.
For the past four years, Joe has served as co-Event Chair of the Producer’s Guild Awards with business partner, Mike Farah.
A former stage actor, Joe appeared in productions across the country and hosted two seasons of TLC’s Trading Spaces: Family. Recently, he returned to his theatrical roots, collaborating with Christian Borle to provide additional material for the 2023 Tony-nominated book of the Broadway musical Some Like It Hot.
Joe is a graduate of Yale University and USC’s Peter Stark Producing Program.
