JED WEINTROB is an award-winning entrepreneur, filmmaker and transformation architect, who has built his career at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and innovation. From pioneering story-driven video games to redefining content in 3D, VR, AR, and AI-driven media, Weintrob has consistently led creative and production teams into new dimensions, where stories are not just consumed–but fully experienced.
As CEO and co-founder of 30 Ninjas, Jed Weintrob leads the immersive AI story studio alongside Julina Tatlock and filmmaker Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow). Under his leadership, the studio is at the forefront of next-gen storytelling, creating boundary-pushing experiences in XR, AR, and MR. 30 Ninjas premiered ASTEROID—a Liman-directed XR experience—at the Venice Film Festival 2025, launching in tandem with Google’s new Android XR platform. The studio is developing a slate of innovative projects in collaboration with industry leaders including Google, Meta, Verizon, and others shaping the future of immersive media.
Mr. Weintrob first worked with 30 Ninjas when he launched Condé Nast’s foray into Virtual Reality, producing Invisible, a VR series directed by Doug Liman. He structured a joint venture between CNÉ, Samsung and Jaunt VR, establishing Mr. Weintrob as an industry leader at the intersection of virtual reality and original content production.
Previously, Weintrob held senior executive roles including President, Industrial Color and President, Global Edit & Production at Deluxe Entertainment Services Group. As VP and Head of Production at Condé Nast Entertainment (CNE), he built the company’s digital video studio and oversaw the production and release of more than 200 original series and 5,000+ episodes of digital content. He also led CNE’s foray into virtual reality with Invisible, a Liman-directed VR series produced in partnership with Samsung and Jaunt VR— a landmark venture that positioned him as a leader in immersive media.
He began his career by founding Orion Pictures Interactive, a video game company acquired by MGM, and later launched Arena Films 3D, where he was responsible for most of Samsung’s 3D TV content and executive produced Experience 3D series for Discovery Channel’s 3Net. His film credits include executive producing Kill Me Three Times, starring Simon Pegg and Teresa Palmer, and directing On_Line and The F Word, which premiered at Sundance, Berlin, and Tribeca before being distributed in theaters worldwide.
