CHRISTINE D’SOUZA GELB is the CEO of 2AM, the Oscar nominated production and talent management company based in LA & NY. She launched alongside co-founding partners David Hinojosa and Kevin Rowe in March 2021 and was formed in partnership with award-winning studio A24.
2AM produced a handful of critically acclaimed films including Halina Reijn’s BABYGIRL starring Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson, as well as PAST LIVES, which was nominated for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay at the 2024 Academy Awards and won Best Feature at the 2024 Independent Spirit and Gotham Awards. Upcoming productions include Celine Song’s follow up THE MATERIALISTS, starring Chris Evans, Dakota Johnson, and Pedro Pascal, as well as mockumentary film THE MOMENT from Charli xcx.
D’Souza Gelb has also structured financing and executive produced a number of films including Sam & Andy Zuchero’s LOVE ME, BAFTA winner Savanah Leaf’s EARTH MAMA, Celine Song’s PAST LIVES, Halina Reijn’s BODIES BODIES BODIES, and Andrew Seman’s RESURRECTION. On the management side, 2AM represents a deep roster of filmmakers, writers and multi-hyphenate artists, including FIRST OMEN filmmaker Arkasha Stevenson, Sundance Grand Jury Prize director A.V. Rockwell, Dominic Fike, Matt Spicer, James Sweeney, Mary Bronstein, Jayme Lawson, Jack Begert, and Sarah Adina Smith.
D’Souza Gelb previously spent 8 years as a Partner at WME & Endeavor Content where she was overseeing the Film Sales & Advisory group. She represented a number of high-end financiers & producers, and packaged, structured financing, and sold the distribution rights on hundreds of films. Some highlights include The Green Knight, Tick Tick Boom, The Forty-Year-Old Version, Midsommar, The Farewell, The Square, Manchester by the Sea, Under The Skin, and The Witch. Previously she was the VP of sales & financing at Preferred Content and an international sales agent at Joni Sighvatsson’s Katapult Films. She started her career at Jerry Bruckheimer Films.
