CHARLES ROVEN is an Academy Award® and Golden Globe® winning producer and a founder of Atlas Entertainment. Renowned for his creative vision and collaborative spirit, Roven has overseen the production of numerous acclaimed films, television series, and music projects. His films have collectively grossed over $10.6 billion at the global box office, placing him number seven among the top ten highest-grossing producers of all time.
Recent highlights include Christopher Nolan’s OPPENHEIMER, which earned seven Academy Awards® including Best Picture. Throughout his career, Roven has been instrumental in shaping the DC Expanded Universe with films like MAN OF STEEL, THE SUICIDE SQUAD, and WONDER WOMAN, alongside other notable works including the Oscar® nominated and Golden Globe®-winning AMERICAN HUSTLE, 12 MONKEYS, CITY OF ANGELS, TRIPLE FRONTIER, UNCHARTED, and the cinematic phenomena THE DARK KNIGHT trilogy.
Roven is in post-production on Amazon MGM Studio’s motion picture MERCY, set to release theatrically on January 23, 2026.
In 2018, Roven received the prestigious David O. Selznick Achievement Award from the PGA for his outstanding body of work in motion pictures as well as the American Cinematheque Power of Cinema Award in December of ’24.
