CAROL MENDELSOHN was the Showrunner/Executive Producer on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation since the pilot episode. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was among the top rated scripted drama series on television and the most watched television show in the world. Carol was the Co-Creator/Executive Producer of CSI: New York, CSI: Miami, and CSI: Cyber. Carol got her first gig as a freelance writer on FAME. She went on to write and produce a number of series, including five years on Melrose Place. As a producer, she has been nominated for multiple Emmys; WGA Awards; Golden Globes; Producers Guild Awards and the prestigious Edgar Allen Poe Award. Additionally, she is a three-time People’s Choice Award Winner. In 2010, Carol launched Carol Mendelsohn Productions alongside Julie Weitz. Carol Mendelsohn Productions is focused on creating quality scripted drama, comedy and reality series for network and streaming platforms. Most recently, Carol served as Executive Producer of The Faithful: Women of the Bible, a biblical event series based on The Old Testament’s Book of Genesis and told through the eyes of the women whose descendants shaped three of the world’s great faiths: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The series premiered March 2026 on FOX.
