In 1998 DONNA GIGLIOTTI became only the third woman in Oscar history to win an Academy Award for Best Picture. She was granted the award for producing SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE. Subsequently, Ms. Gigliotti received three additional Academy Award/Best Picture nominations for producing HIDDEN FIGURES (2016) SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK (2013) and THE READER (2008.) In 2019, she was nominated for an Emmy for producing the ABC/Academy Awards telecast; in 2023 she received her second Emmy nomination for producing the documentary, WUHAN, WUHAN.

Beginning in 2019 Ms. Gigliotti served a full six-year tenure on the Board of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science where she was Governance Chair and Finance Chair. Ms. Gigliotti also sits on the National Board of the Producers Guild of America as well as its Executive Committee.
