As an Executive Producer, Joanna has worked on award-winning immersive projects that premiered at festivals including Tribeca, Venice, and SXSW. Her productions include Finding Pandora X (Golden Lion for Best Immersive Experience, SXSW Best Virtual Cinema Award), Breonna’s Garden (recognized for social impact by PGA Innovation, Unity, and Auggie Awards), and Fight Back (Audience Award, Venice). Recent AI filmmaking projects Project 2029, Tormented, Veiled Sins and Pagan Mass have been recognized at the Berlin Indie Film Festival, Seoul International AI Film Festival and CineTech Future Fest.
Joanna has been recognized as one of the “25 Pioneers in the Metaverse,” “50 Women Can Change the World in Media and Entertainment,” “50 Women to Watch for Boards,” and “Top 50 Original Thinkers in VR.” She serves on numerous boards and advisory committees, including the Producers Guild National Board of Directors and Innovation Chair, Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Emerging Media Executive Committee and AI Task Force Lead and Filmgate Interactive.
A graduate of Northwestern University and The Wharton School, Joanna continues to bridge technology and storytelling to create impactful, future-focused work. She is currently advising media and technology companies on innovation, serving on boards, executive producing and working on impact initiatives.
