Walid Saba’s extensive background in design, architecture and brand development placed him in a unique position to join the Chrysler Group to become the Head of Marketing Design—Group Creative Director for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram in October 2009.
Saba is responsible for Chrysler Group Branded Visual Communications, global motor shows, events, product placement, licensing, merchandising, creative asset development, vehicle brochures & publications, computer graphics, interactive design, websites and retail design.
Saba began his career as a car designer with Ford Motor Company in 1989, resulting in a 20-year journey that spanned the globe. His assignments focused on automotive design, retail design, brand development, visual strategies, corporate architecture and interior aviation design.
Brands specifically influenced by Saba include Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo, Aston Martin and Ford.
Programs influenced by Saba design include Lincoln Mark VIII, Ford KA, Lincoln LS Motor Trend “2000 Car of the Year,” Jaguar S Type interior, a series of Custom Aston Martin’s, Ford EV Prototypes, PAG Facility (Premier Automotive Group) World Headquarters, in Irvine California, Gulfstream G5 Corporate Jets interiors, numerous automotive dealerships, concept cars and special projects. Saba holds a bachelor of science degree in transportation design from Art Center College of Design.
