Bob Pisano has had almost 40 years experience in entertainment and the law. His first “career” was in legal practice at O’Melveny and Myers, where he specialized in business litigation and headed the firm’s Paris office between 1979 and 1983. He left O’Melveny in 1985 and, over the next 14 years, held successively the jobs of Executive Vice President of Paramount Pictures and Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of MGM. In 2001 he became the top administrator at the Screen Actors Guild, holding the titles of National Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. In January 2010 he was appointed President and Interim Chief Executive Officer of the MPAA, having joined the organization as President Chief Operating Officer in October, 2005.
