Liz Gazzano

Liz Gazzano joined Pixar Animation Studios in March 2004 as producer of commercials and promotions for The Incredibles and Cars. In July of 2007, Gazzano moved on to become Executive Producer of Theme Parks, where she works closely with the Creative Director of Theme Parks to oversee the use of Pixar characters and environments within a Disney theme park setting. In addition to ensuring that every Pixar character used in an attraction, float, theater show, park or cruise ship setting has creative input from Pixar, Gazzano also oversees the design of park rides and attractions, as well as animation for parks & resorts.

Gazzano is currently working on a number of projects including Cars Land for Disney’s California Adventure, The World of Color Water Spectacular, also for Disney’s California Adventure, and a Nemo Show With Turtle Talk for the Animators Palate restaurant on the new Disney cruise ships. She is also overseeing the development of Toy Story Playland for Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland.

Prior to joining Pixar, Gazzano was an animation producer at Colossal Pictures, Propaganda/Satellite Films and Wild Brain. Gazzano’s original background is in live-action production where she produced numerous music videos, commercials and films.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in broadcast journalism. Gazzano returned to the Bay Area after working in Los Angeles and New York, and currently lives in Berkeley, California.
