John Irwin is a veteran television producer and president of Irwin Entertainment, Inc., a full service television production company committed to producing and developing high quality projects in the comedy, reality and live entertainment arenas. Based in Los Angeles, Irwin founded Irwin Entertainment Inc. in 2004 and has numerous projects in production and development with various networks including VH1, HBO, CMT, PBS, Comedy Central and Animal Planet. Some of Irwin’s most recent credits include VH1’s mega hit series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (now in its third season), Celebrity Rehab Reunion, Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew and Sober House (season two of which is now in production).
Additionally, Irwin produced All Jacked Up, a series for CMT starring C. Thomas Howell, and on the comedy front, a standup special with Nick Swardson for Comedy Central.
Prior to forming Irwin Entertainment Inc., Irwin spent four years as a producer for Late Night with Conan O’Brien, two years as a producer for Mad TV, and five years as Vice President of Development and Production for Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video.
