John Heinsen

As Executive Producer at Bunnygraph, a multi-platform digital content and consultancy company, John works with writers and talent to develop comedy and music series formats for television, interactive/web and mobile platforms. THE GOAL: to drive innovation through enhanced user experiences while challenging new technologies to create seamless branded transmedia programming models and integrated marketing solutions.

John's 18-year career in entertainment includes experience as Manager of Primetime Programming at the FOX Broadcasting Company, where he creatively helped oversee series such as Family Guy, Bernie Mac and That 70's Show. John also worked with brands such as Starbucks and Gap while in the New Media/Branded Entertainment and Television Packaging Divisions of International Creative Management (ICM). He began his career in 1992 as a Producer at KVOA in Tucson, AZ.

John currently serves as Co-Chair of Mobile for the Producers Guild of America (PGA), New Media Council and is Co-Founder and Executive Producer of the Altadena Comedy Festival. Additionally, John is an Adjunct Professor of Entertainment Business at California State University Los Angeles and leads the New Media Marketing track of Columbia College Chicago's Semester in Los Angeles. Originally from Chicago, John received his MFA in 1996 while a Producing Fellow at the American Film Institute (CAFTS) and in 1994 received a BFA in Media Arts from the University of Arizona. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Lisa and their three children.
