Dave Ulmer is Motorola’s Sr. Director, Media & Entertainment, responsible for the company’s next-generation media experiences that cross the home set-top and mobile handset businesses. A digital media pioneer, Dave has held a variety of executive roles with wireless, hardware, and software companies, most notably as the Co-founder of Adaptec Software, Burning-Point, Earjam, and Roxio, and advisory roles for many of today’s major media companies. Dave has served as Vice Chairman of the Mobile Entertainment Forum, and Board member for a variety of digital media companies and trade associations. Born in California and schooled at Loyola Marymount University, Dave has a long history of championing and chaperoning leading-edge technology products and services into mainstream consumer markets.
