Charlie Haykel

Seventeen years ago, Charlie Haykel dared to leave behind the glitz and glamour of Buffalo, New York – including his beloved football and hockey teams -- in order to come to Los Angeles and become a producer. Ever since, Haykel has been fortunate enough to work on shows both big and small, and along the way has learned from some of the greatest talents in entertainment and media worlds.

Working with Don Mischer Productions, Haykel recently finished producing the acclaimed HBO special, We Are One, the official kickoff to the Obama Inaugural, held at the Lincoln Memorial, and the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, starring Neil Patrick Harris. In addition to executive producing the 2007 Miss America Pageant, Moving Image Salutes Will Smith and BRAVO's 2008 A-List Awards, he also produced the Super Bowl XXXIX and XL Halftime Shows (Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones) as well as the 2004 Democratic Convention.

Some of his other producing credits include the NBC series The Singing Bee, the ABC primetime series, The Wayne Brady Show, and numerous specials including Movies Rock, Fashion Rocks, John Leguizamo's Sexaholix, Christmas in Washington and The Tony Awards.

Haykel also had the pleasure of being on the producing teams for the millennium documentary by Steven Spielberg titled The Unfinished Journey and the independent feature films Bad City Blues and Ring Girls.

Charlie Haykel is not just proud of his productions, but also his reproductions -- he resides outside Los Angeles with his wife and 2 children.
