Paul Leonard



Paul Leonard graduated from USC Film School’s Peter Stark Producer Program with his MFA in 1993.

Paul held jobs in marketing, script development and production before finding his best fit in post-production in 1995 on “Sliders” for Fox. Paul has supervised all aspects of finishing TV series, MOWs and mini-series as well as coordinating production and directing second unit. Paul recently finished a five year run as Co-Producer on “Battlestar Galactica,” a show TV Guide and Time Magazine call “the best show on television.” In each of its four seasons, “Battlestar” has earned Emmy nominations in at least one of the following categories under Paul’s supervision: sound editorial, visual effects, and sound mixing with visual effects winning the Emmy for two of those seasons. Paul won a Streamy Award for “Battlestar Galactica: The Face of the Enemy” in ’09 for Best Dramatic Web Series. He is also currently teaching a college course on post-production and editing for his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Texas, at their new Los Angeles facility.
